"The timing of my driving lessons was a bit awkward due to my availability and limited time in Newtown alongside the fact that University is 4 hours away. Keith was brilliant at organizing lessons which suited me and my schedule, I never felt like I was being a hassle to him.

I'd had some lessons beforehand but after failing a test and waiting just over a year before looking to take lessons again I found Keith. I only had 10 hours with him before I'd passed. The fact that I enjoyed every lesson definitely helped with the learning process along with Keith's patience, flexibility and friendliness. I greatly recommend Keith as a driving instructor, he makes the lessons a breeze and he used to be in the police so has a lot of experience with driving- unfortunately however he won't be teaching you evasive police driving which is a shame because that could be very fun. Cheers for everything Keith!"

" I couldn't thank Keith enough, after failing twice with two previous instructors I almost gave up. All my friends seemed to pass and with Uni coming up and havng a little boy it was something I needed to do. I heard a lot of people telling me they had passed with 10 or so lessons with Keith so I made my 1st Lesson with him even though I had to travel an hour to get to my lesson it was definately worth it ! It was nothing like my previous lessons, he knew exactly how to make  you feel relaxed and understand everything about driving. I was learning without the stress and pressure I associated with my previous instructors. He managed to rid my bad habits and put everything right. He booked in for my test after just three Lessons. On my 10th hour of driving lessons I passed my test.
I can,t praise him enough I would definitely recommend him to anyone ! Thank you so much your an absolute star !!"

" Learning to drive can be daunting and potentially scary, but learning with Keith is definitely a calming and controlled. experience, to say the least. Not only do you learn how to drive, you find yourself going to bed thinking of traffic light sequences in Newtown, miles per gallon, and tyre pressures. Not an experience I had often before I learnt to drive with ASM, yet alone enjoyed!

ASM is a professional, yet personal driving school, with a calm manner, a wealth of experience and knowledge that will truly prepare you for your test and life.

Even once passed, seeing Keith on the road in his theatrical graphics, either heading to the Rhallt or another of Keith's haunts, he'll text you later reassuring you that you are still a worthy, responsible and noteworthy driver.

I have never seen driving as a chore, when learning and when passed. I put this down to Keith's enthusiasm and great company that will make your lesson fly-by and hopefully the next lesson come around quicker!

Without a shadow of doubt I would recommend ASM to any potential driver, as I could not have had a better experience to learn how to drive."

" When I was looking for a driving instructor everyone I seamed to speak to was being taught by Keith. I think that tells you something right there! I passed my test today with two minor errors and roughly 23 hours worth or lessons with Keith. His lessons are relaxed and enjoyable and I was able to learn at my own pace. I also thought it was cool that I was driving the same car as the "reasonably priced car" from Top Gear which is really easy to drive. Thanks Keith, really enjoyed the experience! " I started off learning to drive with a different driving instructor and I thought I was doing really well, but when it came to the test I failed because of things I hadn't learnt, I had 3 tests and failed all of them with around 7 minors and 2 serious faults, thats when I decided to change instructor because I really couldn't keep failing and not getting any better. Thats when one of my friends told me to contact ASM so I did, I took 8 lessons with Keith and I really enjoyed having lessons with him, he is very enthusiastic about teaching and very organised, I was very comfortable when driving with him and he always kept on at me to make sure I was doing everything I should be, he has lots of knowledge about the way the tests are done and knows what the tester is looking for this made me feel very confident. I took my test after my eigth lesson and passed I was amazed with only 3 minors I could'nt believe it, I highly recommend learning with them, it was brilliant."

" I have recently just passed my test, Wednesday 276th January 2011 and without any minors. I really enjoyed learning with ASM because I was pushed to my best ability which enabled me to pass quickly but without rushing  as I was ready for my test. It took me 17 hours to pass, and each lesson was calm and enjoyable. If I didn’t get it right then it wouldn’t be a problem and I practiced until I did. I would highly recommend learning with them."

" I passed my driving test today (26.1.11), with 4 minors. I was originally meant to have my test in late December, but it was cancelled due to weather conditions. Keith was a great instructor, and built up my confidence and knowledge over the months, enabling me to pass my test. I had had no past experience with driving or car engines, so i learnt a lot from a very experienced instructor. Being a student made it hard to have a lesson every week, and i often had to ask Keith to change the time of my lesson. He never minded once, and was very flexible with school. I enjoyed every lesson as it was comfortable going for a drive and having a good chat. I would definitely recommed learning with ASM anyday. Thankyou for all you did Keith, im very grateful."

I recommend that everyone should take Keith’s advice in having a two hour lesson for your first time as I was driving to Caersws & back within those two hours!  I had 17 lessons over a 10 week period and passed first time.  Get on & pass your theory test as soon as you can.  Keith knows when you are ready to sit the practical test & he then arranges to book your test for you.  This means that you are not wasting your money in trying the driving test before you are ready.  Thank you Keith for all your hard work, I really appreciated your help and I shall miss our chats whilst learning to drive. " Before I had lessons with Keith I had a double lesson with BSM. They sent a guy from Shrewsbury who had no knowledge of Welshpool or Newtown and said that I would need to have at least 22 double lessons in order to pass my driving test. In that first lesson we spent at least 3/4 of the lesson talking and I knew I was going to be ripped off. So I started with Keith. From the first lesson Keith made me feel very confident in my driving and he knows all the perfect places to learn where to drive in Welshpool and Newtown which made learning to drive easy and stress free. He was always very flexible in organising lessons and turned up on time. Eventually I managed to pass in half the national recommended time, If I had continued with BSM I would of spent twice as much money! Thanks Keith I will definately recommend you to others. "

"I would highly recommend Keith to anyone, I enjoyed my driving lessons so much, the instruction was great and if I didn't understand something he would just go over it again and again with me. Keith was very supportive when my test unfortunately got cancelled, and wasn't available again until over a month later. I had a about a 3 week break from driving during that time, so when I had my first lesson back with Keith I had sort of forgotten things but just after that one lesson I was back to driving as confident as I was before my test got cancelled! I have just passed my test and now looking forward to doing my pass plus with Keith!" :-D
