Instruction and guidance can be given in the taking of the Theory
Test which is computer based. If you do not have access to a computer,
practice can be offered in the car during lesson time by means of
a lap top computer (use this link
to the DSA web site to try your hand at the Theory & Hazard perception
test)
Access from this link can also be gained to the Mechanical Awareness
questions which were introduced in September 2003. The candidate
taking the practical driving test will be required to answer 2 safety
check questions relating to their vehicle. Full training will be
given on this subject.
Practical Test
The candidate will be taken for the practical test by a Driving
Standards Agency Examiner, This usually takes about 40 minutes and
will include various manoeuvres, town and rural driving. Result will
be given on completion of the test.
